Capacity Building

Our Capacity Building program is designed to support, develop effective and well-managed organizations that make the best use of their human and financial resources to maintain identity. With great focus on delivering successful strategies, emerging tools as well as specific skills and tactics necessary to build the capacity, the program aims at empowering the individual organizations to better perform internally and towards the community they serve. 

We aim to Create awareness, Transfer skills, and know-how, Strengthen Human Capital, Promote decentralization through empowering individuals and organizations thereby Encouraging knowledge sharing. 

1. During 2025–26, Vividha’s senior members actively contributed to a wide range of capacity-building initiatives related to gender justice, women’s rights, constitutional values, prevention of sexual harassment, leadership development, counseling, and legal awareness. 79 capacity building programmes were conducted including guiding the staff of kanoriya PG college to plan for 10-day oriantation programmes for its students and teachers. with students, law interns, women leaders, community workers, government officials, educational institutions, civil society organizations, and workplace committees.
2. As part of the Udayan Shalini Mentorship Programme, Renuka Pamecha, Vijaylakshmi Joshi, and Dr. Pritam Pal joined as mentors to support economically disadvantaged girls in continuing their education. The programme provides annual educational support and regular mentoring sessions focused on personality development, leadership, confidence building, and social equality.
3. Throughout the year, Renuka Pamecha, Vijaylakshmi Joshi, Mamta Jaitly, and other Vividha members facilitated numerous training programmes and discussions on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, women’s rights laws, domestic violence, constitutional values, gender equality, patriarchy, counseling processes, and women’s access to justice. These sessions were conducted with Internal Complaints Committees of government departments, transport corporations, educational institutions, law students, social work interns, women workers, police battalions, women’s groups, grassroots leaders, and civil society organizations across Rajasthan. Vividha’s team also regularly oriented law students, social work interns, and community leaders on the functioning of the Women’s Safety and Counseling Centre, legal aid mechanisms, women’s protection laws, and support systems available for survivors of violence. Several exposure visits were organized for schoolgirls, college students, and interns to help them understand institutional mechanisms for addressing violence against women.
The organization contributed to public dialogues on issues such as child marriage, women’s movements, constitutional rights, leadership, gender justice, and social activism. Members also participated in television discussions, university programmes, youth leadership initiatives, and state-level workshops, sharing feminist perspectives and strengthening awareness of gender-sensitive approaches. In addition, Vividha facilitated capacity-building programmes for counselors, women development workers (Saathins), supervisors, grassroots women leaders, and civil society activists, helping them strengthen their understanding of women’s rights, legal frameworks, documentation processes, counseling skills, and advocacy strategies. Through these diverse engagements, Vividha continued to build the capacities of individuals and institutions working towards gender equality, social justice, and women’s empowerment.
